Portfolio Manager

Rob Tétrault is an award winning Portfolio Manager and head of the Tétrault Wealth Advisory Group at National Bank Financial. Redefining the practice of portfolio management by his transparency, honesty and dedication, Rob is a devoted member of the community and has managed to build a practice of high net worth individuals where his clients’ interests come first. Brilliant in so many different capacities of financial planning and wealth management, Rob’s expertise and knowledge becomes apparent from the instant you meet with him.
After graduating from U of T Law School, Rob initially worked as a litigation lawyer at Aikins MacAulay Thorvaldson. Rob then completed a Finance MBA and was a member of the Dean’s list at the Asper School of Business.

 

Community

Rob is an active member in the community, serving on multiple boards, including a role as the longest serving President of the St Boniface Francophone Chamber of Commerce, Board member of Actionmarguerite, the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce and Le Classique. He is also Past President of the Association des juristes d’expression francaise du MB, Past President of Francophone Sport Manitoba, the Working Group on the Enhancement of French Legal Services and the Official Languages Offices National Advisory Committee.

Rob is also the co-founder and trustee of the Canadian CMV foundation, an organization he created which has the mandate of raising awareness and money to eradicate congenital CMV.

His hobbies include chess (he’s a former Provincial Junior Champion), Settlers of Catan (three time Canadian Champion) and hockey. Rob lives in Winnipeg with his wife Michelle and three children, Alexandre, Arielle and Angeline.
